Op Lakeshot - Catapult Crime

Good morning Resident,

As I'm sure you are aware, there is an issue nationwide regarding the use of catapults and the impact this has on property, wildlife and farm animals. Kent Police's Police and Crime Commissioner and your local MP (Kevin McKenna) have recently been involved in meetings at Parliament about changing legislation to re-classify a catapult as a weapon, enabling police stronger powers to deal with suspects more robustly.

Attached to this message is a flyer / poster for Op Lakeshot. 

Op Lakeshot is a nationwide, multi-agency initiative launched to tackle the illegal use of high-powered catapults. We are requesting that members of the public report any sightings to the police and if able, take a video or photograph of the suspects (should it be safe for them to do so).
